Block Island

The author calls it a work-in-progress, fictional post-apocalyptic Block Island, Rhode Island, USA. The 4.6 km map is one island: a wooded southern body and a narrow northern arm around a large lagoon, with 19 water bodies in all. New Shoreham sits on the east coast by the harbor, and about 550 buildings are spread among fields, stone walls and woods. Roads total 60 km, mostly minor tracks, and an airstrip lies in the southern body. No imagery gaps or empty ground show; it suits infantry and amphibious operations.
