The 2.6 km square map centers on a town of apartment blocks, houses and gardens with 693 buildings. Dense forest lines the east edge and much of the west edge; large open fields fill the north. There is no water. Roads total about 43 km, with a street grid in town and roads running north to south. Many fields are flat grass with nothing placed. The author calls it the easternmost part of Chasiv Yar, next to Bakhmut. It suits small-unit urban fighting with wooded approaches.
