The author describes it as a work-in-progress recreation of Rødsmoen, a military training area in Norway. The 4 km square map is almost entirely dense forest with scattered clearings, at 290 to 470 m elevation. A small compound sits near the centre beside a main road running north to south, and the map has only 65 buildings in total. About 48 km of roads and forest tracks cross the woods. It suits infantry patrols and forest manoeuvres more than urban fighting.
