Most of the 12 km map is flat tan desert, crossed by a green farm valley from south-west to north-east. A river runs along the valley, with a lake and rocky hills at the north edge. Walled fields, tracks and compounds fill the valley, with 3,577 buildings and 55 town place names. A lone airstrip sits in the western desert. The north-west corner is bare sand with nothing placed. The author lists it as a work in progress. It suits compound clearing and patrols in the valley.
