Swiss Alps Valley

This 3 km map is mostly bare white ground, from 10 to 1,020 m high. A road and a parallel dark green strip cross it from southwest to northeast. Dense forest covers a large block east of center, the west edge and a patch in the northwest. Trenches cross an open central hollow; few buildings are visible. Nine roads total about 9 km, and five named places are marked. The author describes US and USSR forces clashing across alpine ridges. It suits small infantry fights in the woods.
