The author describes a fictional Baltic defence ridge with two hidden bunkers and pillboxes. The world is about 2.3 km across, mostly dense conifer forest with grassy clearings and farm fields. A village sits in the centre, a smaller one in the southwest, and an airstrip lies in the northeast. Military compounds stand in the west and east, and rocky ridges run northwest to southeast. About 22 km of roads and tracks link them, and the map has two small lakes. It suits infantry operations in close woodland.
