The 4 km square map is mostly dense forest broken by open fields, on gentle ground from 140 to 200 m. Settlement is sparse: 44 buildings, mainly in a small hamlet in the northeast and a scattered cluster east of center. 59 road segments totalling about 45 km link the clearings and hamlets. The map has 10 small water bodies, including 3 lakes. The author calls it an alpha version set along the Voksa river in Kostroma Oblast, Russia. It suits small-unit infantry patrols and ambushes, not urban fighting.
